MY HERO's

My Mum No one else has had a greater influence on my life than my mum :) although she died quite a few years ago I still think about her each day (just before I go to sleep each night usually). I could bore you with the story of how she struggled and never complained but its probably easier and more appropraite if I just sum her up by saying she was "THE BEST".
Gary Numan. I've been a fan of Gary's since about 1982 when my best mate from school Rick played me a live album. Plenty of his songs had gay overtones so I thought "this is a bit of alright" :) Numan's style has changed over the years and he has kinda now gone full circle. He still records today and there are heaps of web sites where you can find out more about him if you're keen.
Captain Kirk. The best starfleet captain :), I thought this character had all the great qualities of leadership, charisma, toughness, tender heart, sense of fair play, humour, total expertise and able to make the big calls. Star Trek 6 is one of my favourite movies of all time.
JoeLive, he's a hero of mine too cause he basically set this site up for me. Without him I wouldn't be here. I love chatting to him and spent 2 weeks visiting him in sunny California in August 1999. You can see photo's from my holiday on his site. Joe is a really sweet boy, you should take the time to get to know him, he especially likes Aussies :)). See Joe at JoeLive

Ian Roberts Ian is the first professional Rugby League player to come out and admit he was gay. I think this has done a lot of positive stuff for the image of gay men in sport as Ian is as tough as they come. It took enormous guts for him to admit his sexuality and I'll always admire him for it. This has helped me with my sporting persuits even though I'm not at Ian's elite level.
